2003 Buckskin Stallion
15.1HH; 1250 lbs.

WC Oakwood Frost is a Willow Creek bred stallion that we sold and had the good fortune to bring back into our program in 2008. This Ali Jack son is a five times linebred Driftwood horse whose bloodlines are pure Stanley Johnston and descends from one of that noted South Dakota program's elite mare lines.
"Oakwood" is a beautiful stallion with great presence. Possessing size, balance and bone, horsemen are impressed with his looks, bold, powerful structure and big hip. A real performance horse that moves with powerful smoothness and agility, he is a trademark Stanley Johnston versatile, all-around athlete in looks, stature and movement.
Oakwood's pedigree tabulates the important, landmark Doc's Jack Frost x Orphan Drift cross that was the cornerstone for the Johnston program. He is descended from the great mare Miss Drift whose dam Oakwood was a Driftwood x Oklahoma Star mare out of Driftwood Ike's mother Hancock Belle. Oakwood Frost's dam Lady Jo Wood is one of our top mares that produced our $5100 top selling yearling colt in 2006.
The first Oakwood Frost foals are outstanding, strong, shapey, fancy athletes and mark him as a sire that will contribute greatly to our Willow Creek Program.
A POWERFUL DOC'S JACK FROST X DRIFTWOOD STALLION!
